X350 IBM slackware setup howto

Hi to all !

This howto is aimed to , people, that loves to work with monsters , that now, are cheap , because they are getting older, of course e.bay-iing sport is nice because You can find really
nice devices to load slackware for server o just for fun.
In that case x350 Ibm server , 2 cpus xeon 700 Mhz , raid 4L configuration 1 , 2 disk 16G in raid configuration The moster is:

Ok ,firts at all, we need the serveraid cd , from IBM site,depending your configuration you can setup , your disk at your own taste , in that case raid 1,
Once You have the raid ready , then insert the Slackware cd #1 in the drive and boot the system, choose the kernel especially tailored with the name raid.s , with the F3 key you can see all types of kernel, in our case , the kernel is able to discover all the hardware in that server whith no issues .
After that , you have to "prepare" the hard" disk, raid is just /dev/sda and the raid disks are like a "one" scsi disk.that means :

cfdisk /dev/sda

, please partition the disk at your own taste, and leave a chunk of this for swap.

The following procedure , is just like a normal slack installation, keyboard , packages to install, network, the default network card, module loaded properly, and graphic built-in board ,is auto configured by Xorg , with no special issue .

This is the firts part of our projet, now we are going to use the smp , o multiprocesor capability in linux , because we have to pentium xeon 700 Mhz 1Mbyte cache.
To achieve that , we must compile the kernel , this is the procedure:

Ibm se caracteriza por hacer aparatos no demasiado esteticos , pero , esos si, robustos y hechos para durar.Por otro lado si tenemos en cuenta que el apoyo a Linux , es indudable, es una buena opcion cuando tienes que renovar el servidor de casa, Son muchas las ofertas de equipos usados listos para usar y que por un precio muy ajustado pueden hacer que estes trabajando con tecnologia "profesional" a precio de usuario domestico.

Por si fuera poco , el ojo que todo lo ve , Google,el nuevo "Espiritu Santo" de la religion del siglo 21 , que es internet, saca otro producto, el google analitycs.
Es otra herramienta gratuita que sirve para los webmasters , saber el nuevo numero de visitas, su procedencia , pantallas salpicadas con trozos de tartas coloreadas, con su racion de estadistica , vamos para saber lo bueno que eres , si aumentas o decrementas visitas en tu site .
Yo lo he probado funciona , eso si solo he tenido 8 visitas en un dia.

Esto es lo que llamo Yo un lujo para golosos , son las excelencias de una reposteria casera de primer orden , con un pequeño sabor a brandy .Dicen los entendidos en nutricion que es malo, pero yo no entiendo el porque , si estan muy ricas.Viva el chocolate.Estan Hechas por mi Hermana Queti y mi Hija Anabel.
