Personal TV monitor Black and white

  • I Have no time to whatch Tv , and I was interested in a small tv (old fashion and of course out of date) to see , whith no special action during my work in my computer desk.

I found and old monitor , with superb quality that is conected to my working VHS video recorder to get the video signal.

Is really exciting,

Are there any of You, whatching tv in B/W ?.

perhaps only me.....

Samsung ML-2570N slackware installation

I just bought a new small laser printer , network , samsung Model ML-2571N series, in order to share the printer with the family.

I installed the printer with no issues under my childrens Pc, windows Xp.

And finally I installed in Slackware 11.0 this printer , using the drivers provide By samsung that are in the Cdrom Samsung ML-2570 Series part # JC46-00287A ver 1.05

The fastest way to setup and print is:

login as root

insert the cd provide by samsung into the cd drive.

mount: block device /dev/cdrom is write-protected, mounting read-only
root@laptop:~# cd /mnt/cdrom
root@laptop:/mnt/cdrom# ls
Linux/ Manual/ autorun*

root@laptop: cp -R /Linux /tmp

root@laptop:cd /tmp/Linux

root@laptop:./install.sh*

the scripts check de configuration of the system and install everything , to be able to print.

The clock is still in progress , but near the end the project.
