Slackware and D-link usb wireless DWL-G122 setup

After some dificulties setting up , one of my pc , slackware 12.2 based , to connect using a wireless network, I,m going to sumarize how to achieve this.

I strongly recomend to donwload , under extra/ the wicd package:

ftp://ftp.red.telefonica-wholesale.net/slackware/slackware-12.2/extra/wicd/wicd-1.5.6-noarch-2.tgz

install this package . and insert the usb wireless key .

The messages are similar to:

open the wicd and insert the key and the other stuff , 

get connected
